Since 2017, Olga has attained further acclaim as a prizewinner of several international competitions, including the prestigious Citta di Barletta (primo premio assoluto), Amigdala International Piano Competition (2nd prize, special prize for the best Bach interpretation), Osimo International Piano Competition (spezial prize), and Premio Roberto Melini (3rd prize).

Her musical growth has been enriched through masterclasses and workshops conducted by esteemed pianists such as Arno Torger, Siegfried Mauser, Jeffrey Swan, Pavel Nersessian, Daniele Petralia, Alexander Kobrin, Alessandro Taverna, Alexander Korsantia among others.

In 2011, Olga commenced her studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Detmold under the guidance of Prof. Anatol Ugorski before transferring to Nuremberg in 2012 to study under Prof. Wolfgang Manz.

She successfully completed her master’s degree at the Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg in 2020, specializing in vocal accompaniment.

In 2019 Olga embarked on a new chapter in her musical education at the Conservatorio di Musica F.A. Bonporti in Trento, Italy, studying under the guidance of Prof. Massimiliano Mainolfi. There, she successfully completed her master’s degree in Solo Piano with highest score and mention.

Since September 2022, Olga has shared her expertise and passion for music as a dedicated piano teacher at the Music and Youth Art School in Nürtingen.

Life

Olga Dörr, born in Ukraine, embarked on her musical journey in 1995 when she commenced piano lessons at the municipal music school of Sevastopol. Under the tutelage received there, Olga blossomed into a skilled pianist, garnering recognition as a laureate of numerous competitions.

Notably, she clinched 1st prize at the international Alemdar-Karamanov Competition in 2004 and earned 3rd prize at the Vladimir Krainev Competition.

Since 1999, her talent has been showcased through performances with orchestras and as a soloist with esteemed symphony orchestras, including the Symphony Orchestra of the Crimean State Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine, and others. Her concert engagements have taken her across continents, from Kiev to Moscow and New York, and to stages in Germany and Italy.
